Founders of TechScalers were contacted by their alma mater in the Spring of 2020 to help with an upskilling program for current students who had difficulty finding internships due to lack of skills.
They volunteered to mentor 10 students by providing them professional internship in software development projects.
This experience made them realize the acute need for such a program to be made available more widely to break barriers through focused upskilling and sowed the seeds of TechScalers.
From these humble beginnings, our mission has expanded to making impact at scale by leveraging technology and expert mentors. We currently serve several disadvantaged groups including students from underprivileged backgrounds and new immigrants. We aim to connect accomplished experts as mentors and educators with the target audiences we serve and use education as our primary tool to help them overcome barriers to success by leveling the playing field.
